 Are websites like these the reason why many men still treat women like they are not equal beings in terms of intelligence and individuality? Well, according to Aja Gabel's "The Marriage Crisis," the main focal point that propelled women into an equal world was their ability to be individuals and provide for themselves. Following the Women’s Liberation Movement in the late 1960s and ‘70s, more women earned college degrees and entered the workforce (Gabel 8). As women slowly dominate college female to male percentages, this will lead to better jobs and of course, more of an ability to create for themselves. Websites like SeekingArrangement and SugarBaby.com , however, push women back in terms of public view. We are in 2015, women no longer need to use their looks to get financial support from men. Instead, like they have shown particularly in the past 40-50 years, women can provide for themselves and be evenly if not more successful than men...Hence the opening of SugarMama.com!!!
